Ahaia creates original factual summaries and links to source pages instead of reproducing articles. It does not intentionally reproduce lyrics, dialogue, literary passages, reviews or other expressive excerpts. External images are displayed only when reusable rights metadata indicates Public Domain, CC0, CC BY 4.0 or CC BY-SA 4.0 use; otherwise Ahaia's own topic visual is used. Image credits and licence links are shown on the image.
You may use Ahaia for personal and lawful purposes. Attempts to disrupt the service, bypass security or automatically collect content at scale are prohibited. The service may change or be temporarily unavailable.
You may use Ahaia without an account. If you register, Supabase processes your email address, password authentication and verification status on Ahaia's behalf. Ahaia does not store your plain-text password on its server. Ahaia stores your verified account identifier, email address, display name, unique username, country, preferred language, selected interests and linked device ID. Your acceptance, likes, viewed posts, topic preferences, Aha Points, levels, daily goals and badges also remain stored locally on this device while account synchronisation is developed. To understand and improve the service, Ahaia stores a random device ID with likes, qualified scroll views, story opens, active foreground time, coarse platform type and whether the app runs standalone or in a browser. For the leaderboard, Ahaia stores point events and shows a registered display name or an automatically generated guest alias, score and rank. The owner can review device-level activity and, for linked accounts, the account email and profile to monitor registration, engagement and content quality. A device identifier is not necessarily one person. If you add friends, they can see your display name, username, country, Aha Points and kudos. Advertising providers may process data under their own privacy and consent settings.
The service is intended for people aged 13 and over and is used at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, Ahaia is not liable for indirect loss or for decisions based solely on its summaries.
These terms may be updated as the service develops. If a material change is made, you will be asked to accept the new version. Version 1.5, 26 September 2026.
